Senior Drupal Consultant, Web Development – Content Management Systems
As we continue to grow in both service delivery and new client requests, we are in need for an experienced developer who can join our Internet Services team to provide expertise in design and development of web-enabled Content Management Systems (CMS).
In this role, the successful candidate will work with an existing development teams, our new Interactive delivery team, as well as client stakeholders to design, create, and develop solutions to complex web projects.
As the focus on this role is with Web based Content Management Systems, the ideal candidate will have a depth of experience in all of Drupal, Interwoven, other CMS solutions. The ideal candidate will also have a strong knowledge of Web 2.0 abilities and limitations. The applicants’ experience will put them into a lead role, advising on best practices.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• He/she would be the local customer interface and reviewer of code for quality standards
• Participate in application testing, documentation and deployment.
• Execute technical implementation, integration and customization of a CMS systems and Web sites
• Extend the CMS functionality and build custom site solutions based on the CMS API
• Ensure cross browser compatibility and web standards on all solutions
Required Work Experience:
• Experience working with various CMS systems. Preference for Drupal CMS, and/or Plone CMS.
• Direct experience working in a Web-related solutions team
• Hands-on knowledge with building Web sites using – HTML, CSS, JSP, .NET, J2EE
• Experience with Information Architecture and building user interfaces for customer facing applications(portals)
• Understanding in Web 2.0 concepts – online communities, blogs, wikis, multimedia(youtube, flicker, rss, twitter) connections
• Experience developing cross-browser compatible code based on web standards
• Experience with back-end web development and server-side scripting
• Experience working in a Test Driven/Agile Development environments
• Gathering business requirements and specifications
• Preparing business requirements, testing and training documents as required for process and system changes
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders from executive to business clients
Required Level of Education (include certifications):
• Computer Science degree or diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to build consensus and manage relationships
• Excellent organizational skills
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills in a technical environment
• Attention to detail is extremely important
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time
Must Have Technical Skills:
• Background in Internet Services related projects
• Familiar with enterprise-class web applications and related technologies
• Excellent writing and communication skills
